Human Resources Management
We can help you get organised and show you how to maintain your records. This can be done through using the services of an external Employment Law specialist and using our services to organise your systems or by providing basic Human Resources tools to provide either the minimum legal documentation or best practice such as Investors in People.
Employment Law specialists provide all the legal documents needed to run a company, regardless of size. They have expertise in legal procedure and will provide 24 hour advice on any disputes within the company and will insure you should any employees feel aggrieved enough to take you to an Employment Tribunal. We are NOT Employment Law specialists but we can help you build the supporting documents and the systems to ensure that you and your staff can access their service with confidence.
If you cannot afford or do not wish to use the services of an Employment Law specialist we can help you develop your Human Resources systems and ensure that you are meeting the minimum legal requirements. We can help with job descriptions, contracts, staff handbooks, recruitment, inductions and personnel records.
If you wish to develop your business to incorporate 'best practice' we can help you build policies and procedures, appraisal systems, training plans and staff development. If you wish to work towards a national benchmark, such as Investors in People, we can organise your timetable to enable maximum participation from your staff. Please note however that 'best practice' organisations, such as Investors in People like to see all senior staff fully committed to the ideal and expect internal time and resources to outweigh any external support, such as ourselves.
All Human Resources documents need to be tailor made to the requirements of the company. The development of these documents is often time consuming and requires work and commitment from the company. Documents such as job descriptions cannot be taken 'off the shelf' but need to reflect accurately the expectations of the work. It is important that a member of staff who is sufficiently qualified is given adequate time to work with us on these documents and that they are read thoroughly by the Company Director before being approved.
